try the original. rain x ang pangalan. once every two months will do. just make sure mainit ang temp for the day. clean and dry the auto glass. apply rain x on auto glass in circular motion. allow to dry to a haze then reapply. (sa directions nung bagong packaging, isang beses lang ang pag apply pero dun sa unang packaging nya, 2 times so i stick with the old directions dahil yun na nakasanayan ko.) after mag haze ng 2nd time, get a dry pranela or paper towel then wipe clear until haze disappears. pwede rin sprinkle ng konting tubig sa glass para mabilis matanggal. hth.

I actually had some difficulty with rainx before.. found out later that it was the cause for wiper judders.

what i did instead was polish the windshield. then applied rainx na lang on areas with no wipers.

I also use this. OK naman. Kaso sa 1st application ko, parang walang effect, the next day, naglagay ako ulit. OK na. Except sa harap, lahat ng glass ay nilagyan ko. Effective naman. Di pa ako nag lalagay ulit. 6 weeks na.

Chuaed, car wax works that way. It beads water so it will easily flow off.

The windshield repellant is only different in that it is clear. You can wax your windshield if you want, just make sure you completely buff it off after letting it dry. It has the same effect. Buff with a clean towel para walang streaks. Make sure you also look through the glass from inside the cabin so you can see kung may streaks or not. This is the best way to avoid streaks when you least need them like when driving towards the sun/west.

yes, did it before. dami beses na ko nag-apply ng rain-x sa body ng car. works better than auto glaze since the water does not stick to the car body. but now there is already rain-x wax. made by the same company that makes rain-x windshield rain repellant. works as a wax and water repellant at the same time. so yun na gamit ko sa car body since isang application na lang (where-as before had to apply wax, then rain-x or auro glaze so doble hirap).

i'd recommend rain clear. its like a wax for the windsheild. the glass is smoother and glossier after. plus it doesn't contain alcohol unlike rain x. alcohol+rubber= bad combination.
