The one from Van Nuys? Yeah, they’re one of them. Though I personally go to Kool Vision.

Is anyone familiar with the MTA Ceramic Tint of Scuff Automotive? Their IG features lots of expensive cars installed with this brand, which goes for around 6500 IIRC. 95% heat rejection, 75% VLT for the neutral shade. Tried researching about MTA but couldn't find any material about it.

No plans naman to change my tint. Just really curious about this brand after seeing how cheap it is.

Thanks much for this! Helped me make-up my mind.

Got the free V-Kool OEM (20 ata) on my pickup but had to cut-out sa windshield after a few months kasi madilim at delikado pag gabi, hirap mag-byahe dito sa Davao city and nearby provinces. Been suffering with heat kapag tirik na araw so band-aid solution was sunglasses pero kawawa mga kamay.

Was reading about Ceramic tints, ayaw ko na sa metallized tints, and good to know makakamura tayo sa SunBloc compared to BF Ceramic. Okay sana yung Ultimate 72VLT blue (for night-time clarity) kaso based na mga nabasa ko rito parang nagpapalit yung iba sa Neutral.

So will have SunBloc Ultra (63VLT neutral sa windshield, 26VLT the rest) installed today and hope magustuhan namin. Cost is parang p20k+, nakalimutan ko, pero may BDO instalment and BNPL sa TireSmart Davao so okay na okay kay mrs.

For better night visibility, prefer ko clear para ok byahe sa probinsya. Gamit din minsan ni tatay pickup so darker tints are no-go. [emoji74]

If you have dark tints, dont blind other motorist with your high beams!.

I confronted an asshole driver yesterday because of this. Projectors was on highbeam in his everest while crawling in makati traffic. Nakakasilaw lalo sedan gamit ko without tint.

His reason for highbeam, madilim daw kasi.

Sarap sapakin but so true! Nakakainis pag nakasalubong or kapag nasa likuran mga ganito. Mapipilitan ka mag high beam na rin para makita mo daan eh.

Minsan naiisip ko maglagay ng spotlight sa car “pangontra” sa silaw nila (wish lang naman) Nyahaha

    ganyan na nga.
first the front windshield tint. then the headlights upgrade.

in some countries, it is illegal to tint the front windshield.
at most, they allow a 9 or 12 inch strip as sunvisor.
    ah well...

I disagree. I have Vkool OEM on one car and 3M CS on the others. I've also had cars with Vkool K-series and VK-series.

For me, Vkool OEM is just the same level as 3M CS. Comparable TSER and VLT. The 3M even has a less reflective finish so it looks sleeker.

have BC series on our old ride and CS on my mom's can barely see at night even with HIDs, our new car has k28 wrapped and heat rejection + visibility is way way better (HIDs too), my eye grade is at the 1k++ mark

K28 will naturally have better visibility vs CS20 or CS05, even OEM5 or OEM20.

I liked the performance of the K-series (had K14 before) but just not a fan of its aesthetics, or any reflective tint for that matter. Also didn't like that there's little privacy from outside.

Personally I only put on either dark tint or clear tint, I'm not a fan of the shades in between.
