May mga nabasa ako sa ibang forums na ang cheapest and easiest way para matanggal yung water stains sa windshield is by rubbing it off with cotton and vinegar/ammonia. Is this true?

i guess DIY is good, just get a glass rubbing compound... you're done in about 30mins to an hour..

pwede yun. pwede rin clay. (sa salamin). a good glass polisher would do better. the use of cotton can be replaced with MF towels.

nasubok ko na: bondo rubbing compound, fine grit grade, turtlewax rubbing compound, fine grit din, saka yung MCR (?)polishing compound yata yun, basta yung mura lang na nakaplastic, usually gamit pang shine ng metal buckles. caution lang, medyo highly abrasive yung MCR but it's very effective if used properly on dried window/glass stains. mangangalay ka nga lang sa kaka-wax-in wax-off ala karate kid
di advisable gumamit ng rotary polisher kasi makalat. pero kung rubbing compound, pwede gumamit ng rotary polisher. what i used before, yung nabibili sa DIY shop na parang wool na round pad, pwede i-attach sa variable speed hand drill. it takes some practice bago mo ma-master nat kong ingat din na wag madale yung painted areas. kung ayaw mo DIY, Big Bird..este Big Bert's is the answer ;)
