mga sir good pm.. interested also with solargard tints.. based sa pics and reviews na nabasa ko sa thread na ito ang napili ko po is ung hp charcoal series.. ang plano ko sana charcoal 13 sa windshield then charcoal 6 for the rest of the windows.. pero concern ko lang is baka madilim sa sidemirrors pag gabi.. ok lang kaya kung charcoal 6 for rear half then charcoal 13 sa front half? gusto ko ng black tint and ung hindi kita sa loob for privacy.. honda civic ek nga pala oto ko.. thanks!

I think charcoal is a bit reflective, not sure, please backread na lang. And at 6, it's bound to be dark at night, but then that's mainly relative as well.

If you're wearing corrective glasses, I won't recommend Charcoal 6. 6 is also reflective.

Also check Vkool's OEM05. Seems people are giving it a good feedback based on the other thread.

ano tawag sa solargard yung silver color parang salamin?

Experience ko kasi pag "silver tint" mas hindi mainit pero pag black init pa din.

^^ That could be "magic" or "one-way" tint. Not sure if there are still "one-way" tints in the market today, so it's probably "magic".

btw when you say reflective is it like those silver/magic tints? or charcoal is black pero gloss type ang dating kaya reflective?

Well, if you've got 20/20 vision, kaya na yan. It's not clear, but you can handle it

AFAIK, it's a bit on the brown but shiny type. It's not black as in super black though. Consider the OEM 5 of VKool

Spoke to Rose this morning and set-up an appointment for 2:30pm.

I arrived a little before my scheduled time so the installers were able to start on my car at exactly 2:30pm.

They were all done by 3:30pm.

    Total bill was P5,400.

    Highly satisfied customer here!
Loved the SolarGard tint on my Fortuner so much that I had them (Santolan Branch) install the same combination (HP Charcoal 13 wrap-around & HP Charcoal 22 windshield) on my 2-day old Mitsubishi Mirage earlier today.

Appointment set at 1:30pm, out the door at 3:00pm.

    Total cost was P4,700.

By the way, Rose does not work there anymore. Irene is the new "lady-in-charge" of the Santolan Branch.

Plan of changing my stock tint to solargard.
