Sir windshield and 2 front windows for 2010 santa fe, inabot 3,600 less 200 discount bigay ni Julie
dapat sir mas dark kaysa sa 38 yung pinakabit mo sa windshield for more provacy and more heat rejection. tapos hindi charcoal kundi yung metaalized para icnreased pa anh heat rejection
the Q19 i installed on the windshield is good enough for me. meron pa din init pumapasok pero not as bad as the old tint na mas dark pero mas mainit sa araw.
sir i would advice you to go to their shop and see for yourself the different kinds of tints they have and ask a lot of questions before you do decide. also, check their swatches against your windows to have an actual performance of the tints you are considering. madali sila kausap at very accommodating. nrrow down your choice between the 2 nearest types before finally deciding and letting them cut the tints that will satisfy your needs.
Concentrate first on the windshield, then if naka decide ka na, proceed to the sides and rear windshield.

note: actually based on data sheets, 3M BC is same tier lang rin ng Solar Gard HP series.

LX70 has both high visibility (72% VLT) + high heat rejection (55% TSER). this level of heat rejection is normally found on darker tints. that is the reason why it is expensive.
compare it with Sterling 70 which has 74% VLT + 33% TSER.

My personal comparison of TSER (Total Solar Energy Rejected) data among brands. Do take it with a grain of salt.
Tint series that belong to same tier will provide comparable (but not exact) heat rejection performance.
Tint series that belong to higher tier provides higher performance but generally costs more.
Consider also the warranty length. 5-7 years warranty are pretty common now.
Tier 1:
V-Kool VK and X series
Huper Optik X3 Ceramic, Nano-Ceramic and Clear Ceramic series
SolarGard LX and Silver series
3M CR series
Llumar Ultra Performance and SpectraSelect series
Tier 2:
V-Kool K series
Nano-Tech VIP, Charcoal and Reflective series
Huper Optik Klassisch and Shield series
SolarGard HP and Sterling series
3M BC and CS series
Platinum MNSR series
Llumar Deluxe and High Performance series
Tier 3:
V-Kool OEM series
SolarGard Non-HP series
3M FX series
Platinum MX and MBSR series
Llumar Standard and Premium series
Meant to ask, para maiwasan. Hehehe!
Seriously. No offense Ken. Also not a fan of magic tint. Was considering it for a while after reading all your feedback and TSER, but then, once you go black... you choose between:
HP Charcoal 6 - 6% visible light 58% TSER
HP Smoke 5 - 3% visible light 49% TSER
HP Supreme 4 - 4% visible light 57% TSER

Hahahaha.
My stock tints were magic, after 3-4 mos.

Hehehe! Same tint here. Black tint on a black ride, definitely. I only compromised with the windshield. I needed the visibility, but I did not want to be seen, so dark magic on the windshield. Wala nang mananalamin doon!
TSER yung heat rejection diba?
Grabe andidilim nung pinost mo sir IMm hehe. Ano nga bang characteristics pinagkaiba nung Charcoal, Smoke, at Supreme series?
Chiks,
Charcoal and Supreme are partly magic. The former is like super dark magic black while the latter is super dark but grayish.
Smoke mukhang wala but Graphite 5 was suggested to me for the flat black look.
This info I got after calling Ivy at Solargard Santolan. Will probably be better if I go there personally to see their swatches.
P6k wraparound for the LC120, p4.5k no windshield. Duno magkano bakbak tho.
Thanks sir. I plan to visit their Santolan branch din pag may oras para makita personally yung tints.
Well in case mauna kang makarating sa Solargard, baka matignan mo yung diff nung 3 tint na madilim. Pa-post na lang.
Thanks!
