I couldn't help but read the quoted post of jut abovrme where he mentioned that only the VK series is metallic in VKool's lineul but you said a few days ago that the X and the K series are also metallic.

Which is which?

X series has high TSER because of the multi-layered advanced metal matrix composite aka MMC

the VK series and X series are Metallic.

ABOUT METAL MATRIX COMPOSRE (MMC)

The V-KOOL X05 series is a multi-layered MMC stack, which consists of a titanium composite material coupled with a metallic alloy, both sputtered onto top grade PET substrate. The MMC material derived from this titanium composite-metallic alloy combination results in a fusion of high performance materials that improve properties in automotive application in terms of fatigue or wear resistance, thermal conductivity, engine efficiency and others.

MMC is nearly always more premium and value-for-money than the more conventional materials they are replacing. In many instances, MMC using such titanium composite material have been shown to provide a performance advantage over a monolithic metal. huper optik "ceramic" range is premium non metallized tints.
I prefer sunbloc ultra for my next purchase though.

go for light vlt(40-80%) for the sunroof if you want to see the beautiful blue skies or evening stars or even the rain. i keep my sunroof open in
the evening. if its dark you cant see much.

huper optik cermamic 05 is perfect for you then. it has the highest tser of 75%. it is ceramic so you can use your gps without issue

Thanks for the tip. I am not too keen on visibility because my eyesight is very good.

If you dont mind me asking, what is the equivalent of this for vkool, if there is any. Thank you.

vkool vip black(05) but its not yet available locally...

vk oem5 is very good also

which tint is the best in heat rejection, night time visibility and privacy? i've found a relatively new comer (ithink) solariod tint. please advice on this. or can you recommend tints that have all the best qualities for the three points above? TIA!

if you rely on your gps and need to get good phone signal get the huper..

i have the vkool vk70 and i drive 2-10hrs/day nakakainis konte that the signal isnt as strong.
