Yeah but I was quoted 20K for a 2018 XV and I think that's too expensive.

I don't think V-Kool has ceramic tint, do they?

I'm trying to get the advantages of magic tint without any RF signal interference. From what I've gathered from my research, ceramic is the way to go to achieve this, right?

    VKool K-series wraparound: 6.5k
    Huper Ceramic wraparound: 26k

You're willing to spend an extra 20k just for RF? Btw I never had interference problems with my car before when it had Vkool K14 all around.

Sir jut, how would you compare the k14 and oem 20 in terms of heat rejection, night time driving visibility and how visible you are from outside?

When I come to think of it, you're right. It's kind of a stupid decision to spend 20K more just for that.

Is the K-series also metallic like the OEM though?

K14 is better in terms of heat rejection and nighttime visibility. The K14's visibility from outside is dependent on the angle that you look at it - sometimes the reflective finish obscures occupants from outsiders but other times it's pretty visible. For the OEM20, you're pretty much incognito from outside unless under direct sunlight where you're silhouette is clear enough to be recognized.

OEM isn't metallic. Only the VK series is metallic in Vkool's lineup.

I had VK70 on my other car before and I had to always open my window on the Easytrip lane on NLEX. No biggie for me.

regardless of tint brands, i'm more concern with the heat rejection and visibility. it's all about comfort inside the cabin and be able to see clearly the sorroundings even driving at night

Aren't we all aiming for this? Except for some who value privacy, these are already given. I don't think you can disregard branda as there are some that are really better than others not to mention price difference.

You'd be surprised how many people get ultra-dark tints but are unable to see properly at night. Then they'll irresponsibly get plug and play HIDs or LEDs and blind other motorists on the road.

agree with you but there are some that are too concern with tints not able to read RFID's when in fact they can easily open the windows and wave the token. that takes only a few seconds sa mga toll gates
