October 8th, 2014 06:36 PM #1101similar lang ang visibility kasi same VLT rating (VLT is Visible Light Transmittance).
OEM 5 and CS 5 = 5% VLT
OEM 20 and CS 20 = 20% VLT
nagkakaroon lang ng konting difference dahil sa shade (greenish, bluish, blackish, brownish, etc.) and kung reflective or matte yung tint.

October 8th, 2014 10:18 PM #1103medium dark na ang K14 so not recommended for WS.
actually nga, ang 20% VLT (OEM 20, CS 20, etc) is bagsak na for road safety standard. ano ba VLT rating na gamit in other countries for WS?
USA - 30% to 70% (depends on State regulations)
UK - 70%
Australia - 35%
Italy - No tint on WS
Russia - 75%
also, remind ko lang na meron LTO regulation for dark tinted WS:
52. Use or installation of heavily tinted colored/painted windshield or or window glass 600.00
to be imposed upon the owner/driver (sunvizor or light tinted are allowed)
TRAFFIC VIOLATION AND ADMINISTRATIVE FEES AND CHARGES
if you want K series, then K28 on WS and K14 wrap-around (or OEM 5).

October 8th, 2014 11:49 PM #1106Thank you.
Your OEM 20 looks more silver/reflective-ish than the grey/black I was expecting.
Or was it just the angle the photo was taken?
I'm planning on VK40 for the windshield and a light black for the sides and rear that will be easy to see through at night and in the rain.

OEM per V Kool is Grey but in actual I find that it is greenish grey.
K per V Kool is Bronze and it's bronze/brownish in real life.
Comparing to 3M CS, V Kool OEM does look more reflective, but the reflection doesn't have any color tinge like silver or gold. OEM and K series does looks black from the outside though even if K series is brownish/bronze looking from inside the car.
If I have more budget approved I'd go for:
WS: VK40
Front sides: K28
Rear Sides: K14
Back glass: K14 or K28
K28 is really easy on the eyes at night.
OEM20 is borderline for me even at the front sides, good thing I didn't install this on the WS, mukhang mahihirapan na ako ng konti, specially when it rains.
It's looking a lot like a certain cruiser with that color scheme.
