Hi sirs.. Vkool pa din ba ang ok ngayon for clear? Meron ba kayo marecommend shop south area (bf/alabang/ or kahit makati/fort)? If biglang gusto ko na ng dark tint, pwede kaya patungan nalang para di sayang or panibago set na? Thanks!

For me Vkool parin ang maganda. Merong vkool sa Toyota Makati and Mitsubishi Manila bay. Check also Vkool fb page for their authorized dealer.

Check out la car accessories' nanotech tint. There a nanotech thread here in tsikot and may mga nag-vouch na maganda yung heat rejection ng clear tint nila for a lower price.

    L. A. Car Accessories has their main shop in Makati and a branch in BF Parañaque.

I myself have nanotech installed pero yung reflective tint.

Nanotech Clearsky 9060 is 15k for a sedan. I got my Vkool VK70 for 19.6k (50% off). For less than 5k difference I went with the more popular brand.

None of the international forums I've visited ever vouched for Nanotech, and they don't even have a proper website aside from LA Cars'.

But if you can't find a promo for the VK, I think the Nanotech is better than paying twice as much for the VK.

To be honest the VK isn't all that good when it comes to heat rejection. I still feel less heat when driving with the OEM20 installed in my other car.

When both cars are left under the sun, the one with VK cools faster, but I think it's because of the superior aircon than the tint itself.

Best advantage of VK is visibility. Even with stock headlamps, I see much better at night and in the rain compared to my car with an HID retrofit and OEM20. Not to mention, a car with clear tint really looks cleaner. Tradeoff is privacy of course.

Suggest that you avoid L.A. Cars, the tints they sell have questionable quality and genuineness. There's a thread about them here in tsikot.

guys, if I have my 3M tint replaced with vkool (yung light shade if meron), marerecognize pa rin ba ung RFID ko?

Some RFIDs kasi were not recognized due to some heavy tint daw.

    No interference for vkool tint.

What Vkool tint are you referring to?

I use Easytrip (NLEX version of epass) and it doesn't get read inside my car if I'm using my car with VK70. I have to stick it out the window to be recognized by the scanner.

But if I use my car with OEM20, it gets read even if I don't stick it out the window.

if yours was installed at the headlights, that means your RFID can't be recognized sa windshield most likely because of the tint.

I specifically told the installer to put it on the headlights, our other car also had one on the windshield that cant be recognized, it was moved to the headlights also.

Slightly off tangent from the current conversation, but I forgot to post this before hehe.

VKool (the one in Otis) is offering group buy discounts to car clubs. The discount rate will depend on the size of the group.

    If interested, contact me please!

Disclaimer: I don't work for VKool, nor will I get any sort of commission. I have a friend from there who offered the same deal to my club and asked me to pass it on

Thought K14 would be too dark for night time driving. Took the chance and had this installed as wrap around with VK40 on the windshield. Happy with the combo - the K14 provides enough privacy without impairing night time driving.

Guys yung vkool clear series, may hint ba talaga ng color green shade pag tinignan or colorless talaga? Any review/s sa Autoline Zobel?

Saan yung bday promo meron pa ba nun?

    TIA!

UV rejection.
