It's the reflectiveness of the K14 that keeps the driver from being visible from the outside. If it's not reflecting anything (such as in a dark road), then the interior is slightly visible. Not enough easily spot who you are from a glance, but you can be seen if the onlookers try hard enough.
I personally don't recommend K14 on the front and OEM on the sides cuz it just doesn't look cohesive - one glass panel is shiny while the rest is dark black. And when driving at night, it strains the eyes to look at the side mirrors since it's darker than what you see from the windshield so your eyes still have to adjust.
