k28 - windshield

my concern is visibility (as I have poor eyesight) and privacy.
thanks po

August 19th, 2015 05:47 PM #1442^yung K series is yung magic tint. saktong sakto sa requirements mo.
aesthetics is the only con here kasi reflective sya. mas ok pa din yung black in general.
pero budget wise and sa heat rejection, ok na ok ang K series.

^Agree - from a performance and value perspective, the K-series is the best offering of Vkool.
However, it just doesn't look as aesthetically pleasing as plain black or clear tint.
Sometimes it looks okay:
Other times, it looks quite tacky (when sunlight shines directly on the car):
At night, it doesn't really give you as much privacy as black tint. K14 vs OEM05:

It's the reflectiveness of the K14 that keeps the driver from being visible from the outside. If it's not reflecting anything (such as in a dark road), then the interior is slightly visible. Not enough easily spot who you are from a glance, but you can be seen if the onlookers try hard enough.
I personally don't recommend K14 on the front and OEM on the sides cuz it just doesn't look cohesive - one glass panel is shiny while the rest is dark black. And when driving at night, it strains the eyes to look at the side mirrors since it's darker than what you see from the windshield so your eyes still have to adjust.
But of course, to each his own. Your car, your money, your rules.
