That might be the normal characteristic of your car's window. Most cars have laminated green glass, with some having the green shade more prominent compared to others.

I have OEM 20 and OEM 5 on an Altis installed by Tinthub and i can confirm that from the inside looking out, the shade is greenish.

Does anyone here have X15 (or any other X-series) tint?

I'm interested to know the difference between the X-series and OEM series, as well as other black tints like 3M CS.

It has to be significantly better since it costs 4x as much as OEM.

Ako rin may existing tint. Hindi nila ako siningil ng removal. So far maganda naman yung gawa. After ng curing period walang bubbles.

Mga bros I need your opinion, I had my tint removed and replace by the same shop. The only difference is the installer was a reliever that time. Now I'm not gonna mention the shop since hindi pa naman kami nagkaka labuan.

At first may nakita akong isang gasgas and pinakita ko dun sa shop and gasgas nga daw yun, so sabi ko wala naman gasgas yan nung kinabit yung unang tint at sila din ang nagkabit nun. So willing naman makipag ayos yung shop, mag tatanong-tanong daw sya if makaya sa detail. Nag research na din ako pero mukang malabo makuha sa detail at baka magka grado pa yung salamin.

Tapos one time while driving nung na-arawan yung winshield mas nag labasan pa yung ibang mga gasgas!

Now what do you think I should demand for the damages sa windshield?

    Salamat!

try muna ang detail, pero dapat palitan nila pag palpak.

Alin ang papalitan nila yung tint? Salamin na po ang may damage kaya i think changing the tint wont help. As for detail, nag tanong tanong na po ako baka daw magka grado or ma blur pa ang salamin.

yes bro i meant the glass, yun yung kwento mo di ba and image posted? di naman yata na dedetail ang tint bro.
kasi kung tint may gasgas malamang pinalitan nila yan on the spot.

btw bro yun lang ang order ng recommendation ko (ive never heard or seen one myself *blurred/nagkakagrado na glass after i-detail), try mo muna gawan nila ng paraan yung glass, then palitan nila yung pag di nila maayos.

That's really a bummer. If you replace windshield, there's possibility of having other problems cropping up. It's hard to replicate factory installed and sealed windshield.

I have x series in my windshield. Looks as dark as the darkest oem from outside but from the inside ok naman visibility even at night. Opted for this instead of the vi series since this tint does not interfere with ePass.

Do you mind sharing pics of your ride? And what shade is your X-series? Thanks.

Malaki ba ang difference ng X series sa K series?

    Sa presyo oo.

Also not sure if these are worth the premium over something like the Solargard Quantums or Charcoal series with claimed 40-60% Heat Rejection depending on the shade...

The K-series is the best value of the bunch considering its great heat rejection without compromising visibility, at a price not much higher than the OEM series.

Only downside is that it's reflective so it's not as visually appealing as dark or clear tint.

Looking for new tints kasi that are:
    1. Dark from the outside, light on the inside
    2. Not reflective on the inside
    3. Good heat rejection
    4. Value for money

Not sure if the X series will be the best for this. The OEM series can be too dark on the inside ata, while the VK series is 'see through'. I didn't really mind if there is a greenish tint.

The absolute price is not really an issue, but I wouldn't want to pay an additional 10K for something a minor upgrade from the "good enough" tints such as the Solargards and the K series.

Also, has anyone tried the K or X series vs the Solargards? I have Solargard now, Quantum 37s and 28s. How are they?

The K-series competes directly with Solar Gard Quantum. If you already have the latter, there won't be much of a difference if you change to Vkool K series.

Thanks, this is X15 I assume?

From the picture, X15 still shows the interior a little bit - not enough to get a clear view of who's inside, but the silhouette would be visible.

I'm finding myself picking between the ff:

    1. VK30 WS + X15 Wraparound
    2. VK40 WS + X15 Wraparound
    3. VK 30
    4. VK40 WS + VK30 Wraparound

X15 for windshield seems too much for me.

Anyone here have 'V Kool' tint?
