Anyone here have 'V Kool' tint?

Yes it's ok. Superior heat rejection compared to its competitors from 3M, SolarGard and Platinum. Night visibility from the inside of the car isn't sacrificed even though it's a super dark tint. But people can't see you inside the car from the outside. It's the best entry level super dark tint in the market currently

Maganda rin heat rejection ng K14. Pero yung ang entry level magic black tint ng V-Kool. From the outside parang mirrorized siya at hindi ka masyadong kita sa loob, pero maganda naman night visibility niya from the inside.

Last July 1 nag-avail ako nung SPF promo nila. Tanggal existing 3M tint sa GM ko, ayos naman yung pagkakabit after 6 hours. The next day, dun na naglabasan yung bubbles. Isang malaki (size of 5 peso coin) sa front passenger side, pero after 1 1/5 weeks nawala na lang bigla. Meron pang maliliit sa sides pero antaying ko muna matuyo ng husto.

Yung sa WS ang madami, parang bulutong yung mga water bubbles. AND THE KICKER: 8 linya ng defogger ko ang nasira. Hahaha! Alam ko na di nila yun irerepair pero grabe naman, kalahati ng defogger ko ang di na gumana. Nagtanong ako sa casa kung magkano palit ng rear glass (di kasi sila nagrerepair), aabutin ng 7-8k -.-

Anyway fast forward, pumunta ako kahapon (tues) para pa-check yung backjob. Pinakita ko na may lukot sa lower left at upper right sa WS ko. Narinig ko yung isang installer sabi niya na nasunog. Mukha nga, kasi sinama sa sunog (ng heatgun) yung fabric ceiling the oto ko (near the upper part ng WS at passenger side door). Kainis! Alam niyo yung parang nasunog na buhok na nanigas?! hahaha! Wala akong magawa.

Nireklamo ko yung bubbles sa WS, yung nasunog na fabric ceiling at yung nasirang defogger. Sabi nila papalitan daw nila yung VK40 sa WS ko at OEM5 sa rear. Pero pakiramdam ko parang shortchanged parin ako kasi 13,500 ang ginastos ko sa tint. Aabot na ngayon ng 20k dahil kailangan kong magpalit ng rear glass. tsk. -.-

Saan po kayo nagpa-install ng Vkool ? Ano po yung unit nyo ?

Ok na sana e, bilib ako dahil slight warm lang talaga yung dashboard ko ngayon kahit tirik yung araw. Very satisfied ako sa heat rejection. Nag-adjust lang ako mga 2-3 days sa dilim ng WS kasi before walang tint ang WS ko. At kapag umaatras ako sa gabi, di na kaya ng rear view mirror. Kailangan na talagang tumingin sa likod para makasigurado hehe!

Don't be discouraged on the product, the installation was the problem. Gastos sa gas pabalik-balik. Nakasked ako bumalik at the end of the month.

The product may be topnotch, but the installation must follow suit. We're in the same boat, such that I've got 9 year old existing tint that's got to come off first. And though my rear windshield has a wiper, wag naman sanang masira yung rear defogger.

Sir peps, sorry ha, pero I doubt that your defogger was damaged by V-Kool. I might believe the bubbles (they will disappear after the tint has been cured), but damaged defoggers I won't believe unless if you could post the pic here.

Sorry ha sir pero I just need to be sure kasi I will be having my Montero Sport's 3 year old SolarGard tints and my sister's Jazz's 2 year old 3M tints replaced to V-Kool at their main office.

Sir Lester! ako yung nakasabay mo ng tint noon. Bad service nga sila. I'll have mine redone tomorrow. I needed to talk to the manager na because hesistant yung mga tao eh. They're saying na water bubbles yung nasa windshield whereas if water bubbles talaga yan and not air bubbles, they will reduce in size slowly, but sadly they're still the same size after 2 weeks

I don't think peps was blaming the Vkool tint for the defogger, rather the installer's removal of the old tint. Quite a valid concern for you and me with existing tint.

Hope the workmanship issue is addressed. Sayang naman yung product. Baka day off yung regular tinters?

Basically, those are the issues for me. Bilad na bilad yan sir, the next day palang binilad ko na since wala akong pasok nun (pasig day).

Ah I see. Thanks for clearing that up. Parang ang tagal ngang naiwan yung bula. Unless that's really their curing period. Pero malaki sobra yung lukot. Tama lang na palitan. OEM 5 and 20 ang combo mo no?
