cge sir, i will check it out alam ko kasi iba price ng VKool compared to regular tint.
13,500 naman quote sa akin ni TintHub. OEM20 sides and rear, then VK30 full WS. Kasama na tanggal sa existing tiny ng GM ko.
Mas mahal lang ng 1k dun sa pinagpakabitan ni inhin_yero.
same as v-kool store in quirino ave. I called yesterday to inquire. Promo daw nila yan. 13,500 VK series front full wiindshield then free na sides and rear with OEM.
btw, any people who has vk-30 on their windshield? kamusta naman? d naman ba madilim pag gabi? to which 3m shade it is comparable with regards to VLT during night time?
That shouldn't be right. The VK30 is the most "dark" among the VK series wherein yun "kitang-kita ka sa loob" should be with the VK75 which has ~75% light transmission.
VK30 is pretty much ~30% VLT so should be comparable to that of any 3M series tint with around 30% light transmission (ex. 3M BC30)
Oops I've mixed them up, my bad. VK30 is like the magic tint of 3M (BC series). Tbe difference is that it has a higher rejection, 98%. The downside nga lang, you can't use your toll tags (NLEX EasyTrip and SLEX E-Pass) and GPS because the metal material used in making the VK series interferes with the signals of the toll tags and GPS Navi devices.
If they have a promo for the X series, I might have it installed as my front windshield tint on my upcoming Ranger Wildtrak and I will also change the Signature K14 tint on the front windshield of my Trailblazer.
I know may SPF promo ang Vkool, VK series sa front for 13,500 tapos libre na yung OEM series tints for the sides/rear. Gusto ko sana yun pero since I had to install tint for 2 vehicles, decided to get the K37 Series for the front and OEM 5 Series for the sides/rear for our grey Montero for just 8,500. Lusot naman signal ng e-pass (although lagi kong dinidkit sa window) when I pass through the SLEX tollbooths.
Had the tints installed sa authorized dealer sa West Ave. May airconditioned tint room sila, and pulido pagkagawa. Will bring my fd civic next week for the replacement of tint.
salamat
Mga sir I'm planning to have avail the SPF promo. Talaga bang di nagana yung Easytrip sa NLEX if I plan to have VK30/40 on my WS?
Laking tulong kasi sa akin yung Easytrip. Last resort is to leave a section sa WS ko na without tint para dun ko ididikit yung tag.
Just got my GM V-Kooled today! :D Got their SPF promo, paid for it last Saturday and scheduled the installation today. Took about 6 hours to remove the existing tint and installed the new one. OEM5 wrap-around and VK40 on the WS (₱13,500.00 + ₱800.00 bakbak).
So far, kailangan kong mag-adjust since medyo may kadiliman sa gabi. At may haze pa since di pa masyadong tuyo yung pandikit. I hope in 2-4 weeks time, ok na yung tint. At......di tumatagos ang EasyTrip device ko sa NLEX.
Regards nga pala to sir Johan whom I just met there, his BMW got the same treatment as mine. Although mas malupit yung kanya since sa loob mismo ng showroom sa Otis kinabitan hehe.
I had my company service car (2005 Altis) tinted with Vkool OEM 5 and OEM 35 on the windshield, so far I'm very happy with the tint, mas maganda talaga heat rejection compared to other tints na nasubukan ko (3M, Solargard, Platinum). Tried parking the car under the sun during noon time for about an hour at pagbalik ko hindi gaanong mainit ang loob ng car. Ang mali ko lang yung pinili ko na OEM 35 for the windshield, ok heat rejection nya pero kitang kita ako from the outside, should have gone with OEM 20 for the windshield, pero pinapatungan ko na lang ng 3M FX-ST 35, so ngayon ok na ko with the windshield.
