December 10th, 2002 02:57 AM #1It'll have an incredible V10 twin turbo diesel that makes 309bhp * 3750rpm, 750Nm * 2000rpm and sees it from 0-100kmh in 7.8sec, gives it a top speed of 220+kmh...
...but from the looks of these pics, it'll be a disaster off-road =)
So let's all prepare to welcome the newest soft-roader. At least the X5 will have a challenger now, and it will be a diesel.

If they we're gonna quote the new Rover's side slope angle, they could've at least copied the self-extending air suspension as well.

the X5 already has a challenger in the Volvo XC-something me-thinks. ;)

wow ganda ganda! who cares about off-road performance at this level hehehe... i mean, you won't drive something like this for the off-road performance right? (just like the X5)

The Touareg is getting the ax in the US market. Maybe they can bring them to the Philippines at a discount, like what Toyota did with the FJ cruiser.

its relatively small. saw one this week. the vw atlas is a proper replacement.
