    Hi guys,

I've been reading/lurking in this forum for quite some time now.

I own a phantom black GLS Tucson 4x2 AT Gas Variant

I would just like to know your RPM/Speed Ratio if you don't mind. This could be a good reference to consider on how we drive our tucs or is there something to check with the engines, oil, etc.

    Mine as follows:

    2k rpm : 80kph
    2.1k rpm : 100kph
    2.3k - 2.5k rpm : 140 kph

I'm using Shell Unleaded Gas 93 octane.

I am planning to use Caltex Gold in my next refill because of the 5% rebate by the HSBC. What would you guys suggests?

    are these figures normal?

    Thanks in advance

    I think normal yan.

So I guess it 95 octane for me.

I'm traveling 40/80 kms per day so it would suit me. Cavite - Alabang/Makati route.

Thanks for the inputs Sir SG.

Oh and btw is it okay to ask here what are the the car care kits you guys recommend to use for our tucson or should we post another thread for that.

    TIA

    This maybe OT...

What if in ideal condition and location what who will be quicker kaya? I knew both are same 2.0cc displacement and same A/T transmission pero in HP/Torque magkalayo sila...meron kami kseng argument ng officemate ko na mas mabilis pa rin daw ang gas.. Ako siempre ang sabi ko the Diesel powered will smoke the gas version ng Tucson. tama ba ako?

Tucson GLS AT 0-100Km/h = ?sec Topspeed?

Tucson CRDI AT 0-100Km/h = ?sec Topspeed?

True. Dahil 4WD pa yung CRDi. Kahit yung 2.4L 4WD Tucson kayang iwanan ng R eVGT dahil sa torque.

0-100 ng CRDi R eVGT ay less than 9 secs.

Pero both can top more than 200KPH.
