putting pictures on the web just to prove you have a car or something is immaterial. i can take take pictures of my friend's car and post it on the web as my own, so who would know otherwise? who would know if i'm lying or not? we cannot oblige LD to post pictures if she doesn't want to. if she (he) promised before to post pictures but she (he) reneged, then what the heck?

Hi guys, I am a regular poster of the "Circuit" forums. Im 37 yrs old going on 38 and have no "double" accounts and nothing to hide. I dont really care if TD is hiding under an assumed name but it doesnt mean that his/her post is any less valid.

I got an infraction from MazdaMazda also and I would not contest his reason for doing so. Might have been right/wrong and we all have our disagreements from time to time. What I would only like to point out is mods can put forth arguments in a less "combative" mood or non-threatening way. I was frankly surprised when he said I was "being too serious for my own good". I decided then not to argue the point further. Again this could have been handled more diplomatically. Pls check the thread if you want.

We as forum members put moderators (rightly or wrongly) to a higher standard than our own. I just want to put forth my impression that mods siding an already heated discussion is in bad taste. Pls do not persecute my opinion. Peace...

If that's the case, why even bother creating another account in the first place, when the existing handle will do just fine in conveying the intended message? By way of experience in other online communities, the existence of multiple accounts by a single user always entails intent of wrongdoing or mischief, IMO.

What I would only like to point out is mods can put forth arguments in a less "combative" mood or non-threatening way.

Unless selecting moderators is now a congeniality contest, words like "less combative" or "non-threatening" are subjective. One's sensibilities may not be as easily ruffled as another's. Personally, I'd rather have a moderator who doesn't quite mince words in enforcing forum rules, instead of someone whose diplomacy and tact might be mistaken by some hooligans as a sign of weakness.

When the atmosphere in an online forum becomes a little too familiar and comfortable, many members tend to lose sight of the fact that there is still a need to uphold order, that there are lines not meant to be crossed, and that those tasked to oversee the community enjoy certain prerogatives as part of their responsibilities for the greater good.

I totally agree with you there lolo pepe! Ayaw ko sanang lumaki noon kaya lang I got a bit disappointed when, lets face it, when a moderator posted his reaction towards my "response" to kimpoy in public.. Sana PM na lang kase it concerns me lang naman... Lahat ng messages ko PM ko lang sa kanya kase I want it be as private as possible pero ayun! Dumami na ang mga nag jump in! kahit walang kinalaman na mga tao sumali na rin... Hay.. petty lang talaga.. So much for the pictures of my VC... Di na sana umabot sa ganito.. Sana bukas pa yung thread ngayon.... Me nagsabi pa nga na sales person or dealer daw ako ng Hyundai kase alam ko ang dating ng stocks... Eh pwde ka naman magtanong sa dealer kung kelan ang dating diba? Sana nga matapos na ito... wala naman itong patutunguhan...

Thanks Boeing_747! Bute ka pa at least words of wisdom ang nabasa ko sayo. I know you can't please everybody diba? And the fact na hindi naman natin kailangan talaga iprove ang sarili natin dahil lang sa "Kotse" na minamaneho natin. As I've said nga, I came here to share, ask my querries & suggestions to our fellow tsikoteers. Nagkataon rin lang nagkakilala kami dito ni Sir Yuichi at pati tuloy sya nadamay. (kakahiya sa kanya)
But the funny thing is, it didnt take a long time for me to get noticed by the people around me... (hehehehe) and at the same time, I got to know people who are sincere & honest naman....

You shouldn't have mentioned that you have this type of car if you're not ready for the attention and the possibility of people asking for proof.

No one was asking what type of car you drive then you suddenly created threads that you have this type of car.

Tsikoteers, accomodating by nature, then flocked to your thread because of admiration and you being a girl (supposedly). Eventually, some asked for pictures. You promised to them. You didn't deliver.

Of course, that created the stir.

Anyhow, it's over. Let's all move on and learn from this.

Well, until TsuperDriver created this thread, I had discussed this before with you through PM.

I am quite surprised why he created this thread when for one, he doesn't know that we are already discussing this privately. Second, he opened a whole can of worms with the alleged multiple account thing which did cast a long shadow of doubt among us.

Another thing, most people often mistake this issue as warranting an evidence from LD of her ride. Kimpoy's request was a just a usual one for a pix of her ride. Did he threaten her if she didn't post the picture? Nope... what I deemed improper for the last time is LD's reply to Kimpoy.

Aside from my "rude" reprimand towards your comment, I posted nothing of this matter in the VC thread.

I guess this shows how a few misconception can blow a mundane issue out of hand.
