Visited Bangkok, Thailand earlier this year...
The city is very nice and well developed. Even with it's high density, traffic is not as big as a problem as here in Manila due to a good network of roads and elevated highways within the city itself. :car:
Weather was warm but about the same as here. :weathermanf2:
Thai ladies were pretty & very "friendly". :naughty2:
I also noticed a lot of shopping malls there... including places which reminded me of celfone, personal electronics, etc. tiangges here in Metro Manila but much much bigger. :insomnia:

Sydney & Canberra, Australia.
We just stayed there for two weeks only. Our travel expenses were born by my mother and my sister.

I went to Sydney and Melbourne in Australia a couple of years ago. Just bought the tickets and booked the hotels and airport transfers online. Everything else was just planned by researching what stuff to do like signing up on day-tours there or even just using the mass transport (like the train or trams) to get to places.
It was only for under two weeks but it was very relaxed because I could go where I wanted and stay longer in places if I liked.
1977- Guam, South Korea (pusan), Hongkong, Singapore, Australia(Perth, Melbourne), Ceylon, Japan, Diego Garcia, Philippines(Subic), Mexico( Tijuana, Rosarito, Cabo).
1980- Italy(gaeta), Greece, Germany
1988- Iceland (Keflavik), Norway(Oslo)
Thai ladies have this general perception and strong confidence that they are beautiful. I think it starts from within. Even the women in the Karen Tribe (Long Neck, equivalent to our Indigenous People) and even the kids thought so. Women ought to be beautiful. i have been to the remote villages of Chiang Mai, where the refugees from myanmar have their resettlement, that's where i saw ladies who believe that the longer your neck would be the more beautiful you become. the same is true with another tribe whose beauty lies in bigger earring piercings/holes.
i like Chiang Mai better than Bangkok. Although i like Thailand in general. di nanaga ang mga taxi drivers. above all else, i love Thai food, esp. tom yum and when i want it in medium spice, i just say Mai phet! ( idunno if this is how it is spelled).
Canada (I lived 4 years of my life here) - Vancouver (I lived here 4 years), Toronto, Edmonton, Calgary, Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City
USA - SF, Seattle, LA, New York, Boston, Washington DC, Orlando (Disney World), Charlotte, Atlanta
China - Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Suzhou, Hanzhou, Xiamen, Xi'an, Hong Kong, Macau
Japan - Osaka, Tokyo, Yokohama
Singapore, KL Malaysia, Bangkok and Phuket Thailand, Kaoshung Taiwan
Sadly I haven't been to any European countries but when I get a bit older I will...
Bali, Indonesia is tourist friendly. You can find packaged tours going there easily enough. It just got a bad rap due to the bombings then the asia tsunami disaster.
Memorable places:
1. Angkor Wat, Cambodia
2. Borubudur and Bali, Indonesia
3. Egypt (Luxor, Giza, Alexandria, Valley of the Dead)
4. Japan (lahat dun)
5. Ilang remote places sa Africa.
I have been all over the United States(East,West, North and South includes Hawaii and Micronesia), been also to most of the places in the Carribean like Jamaica,Barbados, St.Lucia,British Virgin Island,Sto.Domingo in Dominican Republic,Cancun,Acapulco and Mexico City. But all the places I have been to, my favorite all the time is Cuba, being in Cuba seems to be like in the Philippines 50 years ago, since it is a Communist country everything has frozen in time almost everywhere, the culture and the people including most of 1950's car still running around in good shape, I am recommending Cuba to everybody to see before Communism collapse, it's a must see.
