What is the difference between Visa and Mastercard??

parang kotse lang yan. visa or mastercard = toyota or honda, or GM or ford. pareho lang naman ang gamit, kung sa kotse, kahit alin dyan, pareho naman na makakarating ka sa paroroonan mo.

kung tinatanong mo yan dahil magaapply ka ng credit card, sa carrier bank ka tumingin. kahit parehong visa, different banks offer different perks. so choose what suits you better. meron yung may free miles, free points to redeem items or vacation packages, medical reimbursements, etc.

I prefer VISA - medyo mas maraming promos (lalo na kapag Gold) from experience.

For my secondary card - I also have a JCB card. Am also contemplating to get an AMEX.

Each bank and card company, may kanyang kanya promos and gimmick. Yun lang siguro kaibahan.

Mas accepted MasterCard sa Pinas. May establishment that only accepts MasterCard. Sa whole world naman, mas sikat ang Visa. Pero very near second naman ang MasterCard.

In Europe,most merchants dont prefer AMEX because of their high commission. No problem with visa or mc.

mastercard po gamit ko.. about the subj i think wala namang significant difference in either of the two, different widely accepted cards in most shops naman sila..
