Well ira is a staunch defender of the current admin so no surprise of his bias against anything that's giving the gov't a negative image
I watched the osmeña interview at cnn ph and he's got a good valid point. Surprising lang nga iyong outburst nya considering he's suddenly lashing out against the gov't who i understand he supports.
Medyo ironic nga lang kasi osmeña sees the ltfrb act as an insensitive imposition of imperial manila , w/c is now headed by fellow true blue visayan speaking brethren from davao

Uber is officially a cab firm, says European court - BBC News
Uber is officially a transport company and not a digital service, the European Court of Justice (ECJ) has ruled.
The ride-hailing firm argued it was an information society service - helping people to make contact with each other electronically - and not a cab firm.
Uber Dealt Blow as EU’s Top Court Rules It Is a Transport Company - WSJ
BRUSSELS—Uber Technologies Inc. suffered a major defeat in its effort to overturn strict rules and licensing requirements in Europe, after the bloc’s highest court Wednesday ruled the ride-hailing company should be regulated as a transportation service, rather than a digital service.

December 21st, 2017 02:50 PM #419This I totally agree. Their justification os that they're using an app and private vehicles BUT the app is just a tool, a medium to get a ride and is no different from physically hailing for a cab, only digitally. Now from the side of private vehicles is that they're contracting them and the uber drivers/riders are charged with a fee(parang flag down rate) diba. It's a dressed up taxi service designed to appeal to the masses who are fed up with the traditional. It couldn't even be tagged as a "ride sharing" app/service because you're paying a fare.
