I see differently. anybody can just launch a ride-sharing app these days. who knows it could be Uber themselves disguised in a new name but willing to cooperate with the rules of our region.

sa tingen ko delikado si Grab coz after Uber they will bear the brunt of the restrictive regulation as well as mga reklamo ng riding public. while the new one will be lo-profile for say the next 2-3 years.

it is said in the article that LTFRB is open for new TNVS OPerators so, malamang it will be partnership between the govt and the new "one:"

bali-baligtadin natin ang mga pangyayari, it will only be the name Uber that will be lost ... Uber is just an app. pwede re-customize yan change the color schemes and the menus etc. iba na sa paningin ng riding public.

I think that's the reason why Uber has been very war freak sa mga regulators, coz they know that they're not forever. sinagad na nila kung ano pa masasagad, inaasar kung sino maasar and they have data. parang boiler room / netwokring kasi, eh mag-re-rent ng office space, pldt number, website, after 1 year, sarado na. pero wag ka meron na bago, same owners hihi
