May 1st, 2007 11:10 PM #11Parang masarap yung Aling Gloria's kainan. Paano ba pumunta dun? The last time I went down to Talisay the road was well paved, or is there another way? Sarap mag food trip. Thanks in advance.

Landlord: May way na all paved road at may way din na dirt road. I opted the dirt road para naman mas sulit. hehe. Ang entrance nung road is at the back of the Rotunda if youre coming from aguinaldo hway.
evs_13: Tumpak. May kaunting sukli pa pang chibog. hehe.
Taal Vista is under Fuego hotels. I think its also owned by SM. May nagsasabi dati na masusungit ang mga staff pero para sakin, they are one of the friendliest. Consistent sila like the other fuego hotel, Pearl Farm in Davao.

Djerms: ang tapang mong dumaan doon sa Old Talisay Road a .

Haven't spent more than lunch at Taal Vista. My last visit was about two years ago, and before that perhaps at least 3 more years. Based on my last visit, they had improved Taal Vista Lodge and made it into a Hotel. Based on the coffeeshop, it seemed like a Makati 5-star resto. Relatively Makati prices, too, though.

Hey there Djerms
Glad you enjoyed your accomodations.
Had the same experience myself.
It's really nice place.
I'm curious about Aling Gloria's. Can you give us directions?
I'd like to visit it the next time I'm there.
:regards:

Hardcharger: Napakadali lang magpunta kila Aling Gloria from the rough road to talisay, just turn left when you reach the main road. Good for 2-3.
Landlord: Nung nagpunta kami, wala na tawilis. Dapat daw early morning magpunta kasi yun ang time ng hango nila. Mabilis kasi mabilasa ang tawilis according to the caretaker.
I just kept my fingers crossed. Pero it'll be a piece of cake for our resident offroaders. Nakakatakot. hehe.

Sana maaga kayo at naka pag boat ride and hike to the crater ng Taal volcano. Ganda din dun sa rim ng crater where you can see shrimps na kulay orange pero buhay pa.
