El Nido.......... I was wondering where it was.

It's in Palawan which means it's still largely unspoiled. When I first saw the pics, I thought it was far away Bora Bora (Tahiti). El Nido....truly world-class.

Hey guys, any resort suggestions along Laiya Beach in San Juan, Batangas? Sana meron din swimming pool at pwede magluto. Maganda sana ang Blue Coral, pero kelangan dun ka kumain sa restaurant nila(P800 per 3 meals). Di pwede magluto.

been to san juan twice already this year.
lahat ng resort dun di pwede magdala ng food.
well.. except for one, AFAIK, na pang-masa talaga
    but i wouldn't recommend it.

    overrated yung kabayan.
    ok na sa blue coral.
pero favorite ko pa din dun is la luz.

may nakapagsabi sa Sabangan Resort daw may cottages with kitchenette and pwede magdala ng lulutuin, according to their website. not sure if this is the one you're referring to.
if that's the one, then we might as well choose between blue coral and la luz. thanks!

since someone mentioned turkey, and snow gets to be mentioned rarely, how about a winter escape to anywhere within asia where there's snow like in japan? best bet includes new zealand (tons of resorts around christchurch) and australian alps (thredbo or perisher blue).

thredbo is 5 hr bus drive from sydney cbd and probably lesser by car if driven by pinoy. it's autumn now in oz but the snowmaking team goes to work in may if there's no early snowfall yet. apart from skiing and snowboarding, various activities are available like bushwalking/hiking, fishing, horseback riding, mountain biking & abselling among others.
bored with snow, then head of to hunter valley food and wine country just 2 hrs away from cbd. boring still? drive 10 hrs northward to gold coast's sun, sand and surfs whick rank among the best in the world. package deals are a plenty for trips like these. crikey!

el-nido mag-eenjoy ka lang dyan kung bago pa lang kayo ng syota/asawa mo or may dala dala ka kabit na gusto mo itago sa ibang tao

the pictures alone speak to me of sadness and loneliness. grabe ang bato ng lugar, walang katao-tao

yun barkada ko nga eh kinasal last year, sama daw kami sa honeymoon nila sa bohol. buti na lang d kami sumama. pagdating ng 7pm tulog na.

walang kamatayan bora lang kami ...

*Sorry* You're right in saying that it's great for couples and newlyweds.

The very nature of El Nido's isolatedness is exactly what many people crave. That's why resorts like Bora Bora in Tahiti are considered world-class. El Nido has more than a passing resemblance to some of the resorts there.

Being happy or sad in any place is what you make of it. It all depends on you. Anyway, A Bora Bora pic from Google Earth:

Sa coco beach resort, may package silang sundo sa manila at pabalik. Medyo may kamahalan nga lang. Galing kami dun last July. Karamihan ng mga guest ay foreigner. Search mo na lang sa google.

Try mo pumunta sa Antipolo, there are lots of resorts available plus maganda pa ang view na overlooking sa metro manila.
