Hi guys, quick question lang sa inyo. Pupunta kasi ako ng San Juan, La Union this weekend and I will be bringing a Mirage HB. I am familiar sa NLEX-SCTEX-TPLEX route, after that mag-rerely na lang ako sa GMaps going to my hotel. Wala bang offroad na dadaanan after ng NLEX-SCTEX-TPLEX or anything that a Mirage cannot handle?

I have this irrational fear of bringing a HB into a long trip since nasanay ako na lagi SUV lang ang idrive kapag long trip talaga. Thanks!

The roads to San Juan, La UNion are paved so no issues bringing a small city car there. I have even seen some sports coupes driven there.

^ I can confirm this. I passed by that route to Ilocos just last weekend. You should have no problems.

Beach wise, mas maganda sa bolinao, that is if you just wanna have some dipping in the ocean. Mas maganda din ang sand quality sa bolinao...but that's about it...not much to do in bolinao.

Roadwise, may portion sa bolinao, specifically yung going towards patar beach na hindi sementado.

In la union, there's so much to do aside from enjoying the ocean.

Yeah, mostly rocky ang mga beach fronts sa bolinao, specifically towards patar. Maganda siya tingnan pero yun nga, pipili ka ng spots para maka swimming ka ng maayos. Tsaka andami na ng pumupunta sa bolinao during in season kaya parang over crowded. I remember 15-10 yrs ago,ang sarap pumunta sa bolinao, konti naliligo sa beach lalo sa patar and hindi ganun ka dami resorts...in short hindi ganon ka crowded.

Don't get me wrong though, i love bolinao, got lots of friends there and locals are really nice. I love the market scene there on saturdays.
