Sorry na lang that this event revealed more of their known incompetance...

It was tough luck and they are sorry for the crippling blackout, transport and airport officials said yesterday even as they brushed aside calls for their resignation.

Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) general manager Jose Angel Honrado yesterday attributed to bad luck the blackout at the Terminal 3 of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) on Saturday night.

The incident led to the cancellation of 82 local flights and delays in at least four international flights, but Honrado said he has “no plans to resign.”

“Sorry, minalas kami,” he told a press conference yesterday.

this morning, i heard the radio guy say that the reason the genset wouldn't start, is that the battery was dead.
the order to buy new battery was already in the works, but the outage overtook them.
my comment is, off with their heads!
the should never have allowed the battery to get "old enough as to die".
    preventive maintenance!
their short-sightedness cost the country millions in actual moneys, and billions in negative advertising.

they should learn from my colleague..car battery is replaced every 2 years, regardless.

This administration is the biggest syndicate. Sabi nga ni Stigg Ma, sticker na binayaran natin last year nalusaw na bayad uli ngayon. Yung car plates up until now more than a year and 2 years for some wala pa rin, estafa an tawag sa nagkokolekta ng bayad na walang binibigay na producto.

Honrado is dumb and dumber as the days goes by. He will never be fired as aside from being a relative, cya lang ang kamukha ni Abnoy, pareho silang mukhang TANGA!

kung sa private sector pala ito nang yari, ano hatol? instant termination due to severe neglect of assigned duties and responsibilities in the office that caused major outage that could have been preventable?

And that will never be the case for KKK under the Daan Matuwad. Ang tawag ni Abnoy dyan is , " security of tenure".
