Palaui Island (Sta. Ana, Cagayan)

Anyone who has been to this place recently?

My friends and I are planning to go there this coming holy week (April 17-19 maybe). A friend of ours will be accommodating us in Sta. Ana, Cagayan and the plan is to visit Palaui Island, the location where the Survivor Series was recently taped.

I've been to Cauayan City, Isabela recently but that is as far north as I have been/driven. I assume the road to Tuguegarao is the very least decent but I am not sure of the road condition to Aparri and Sta. Ana.

Any tips, suggested routes, recommended tourist destinations along the way?

road from Tuguegarao to sta ana is quite good.
there's callao cave in Tuguegarao. there's also a small museum in Tuguegarao and lots of old churches.

may casino sa sta.ana and according to locals may casino din daw area near anguib beach at pag aari daw ni enrile yung casino.

boat ride is smooth from sta.ana port to anguib beach, pero from cape engano pabalik ng port medyo maalon kapag mahangin.

Thanks man. Wifey wants to go with our 6 year old. I'm worried my kid might run out of patience waiting to reach our destinatio .

that's at least 3 hours drive from tuguegarao.
nothing to see much sa daan kundi farms.
oh madaming prado, z3/z4 sa daan kung maaliw sya dun haha.

We are also planning to go to Palaui Island and Anguib beach on April 20. My province is in Tuguegarao but I have never been to Palaui and Anguib beach (boracay of the north).
