Ganda sana timing ng Grandair during the mid 90's...but they got a wrong plane and management. They leased 2 old airbus A300-B4 (220 seats) which can only land on selected long runways in the country. (cebu and davao). nakalimutan nila Iloilo and Bacolod which only 45 mins away from manila, more frequency sana and high passenger. Then they open the MNL-HKG, with two old planes? They also leased another old 737-200 to fly the domestic routes vacated by their A300. ( down grade ang labas).
Lastly hindi marunong mag bayad ng utang ang management. HK authorities chained up 1 A300 plane in HK dahil di naka bayad with passengers on board.(na turn off).
If they got 2 A320 sana baka Grandair still flying.

Cebu pacific (hong kong flights) cheaper fare, new aircraft, but no food, only C2 ice tea. But you have the option to buy food inside the aircraft, or buy from the outside.
PAL (hong kong flights) higher fare, have free onboard meals.
But both have same kind of good service

usually PAL ako.. pero 2 weeks ago, i tried cebu pacific from HK to manila para naman maiba, saka well para makatipid ng konti. ok naman ang serive, mga bata pa yung crew, kaso na bad trip ako sa ground staff nila! grabe! walang modo, napamura pa nga ako nung checkin eh.. sabi nung nasa likod ko na foreigner, what do you for a cheap airline.. hhmm oo nga naman.. so next time PAL ulit ako.. i think for cebu pac to keep up with or even surpass pal, dapat ayusin nila ground staff nila! buset!
