PAGASA: Brace for 36-degree Celsius summer days in Metro Manila
    March 10, 2012 8:31am

After experiencing a 34.5-degree Celsius weather twice this month, Metro Manila might face even hotter days as state weather forecasters over the weekend warned temperatures in the National Capital Region could reach 36 degrees Celsius.

Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) forecaster Aldczar Aurelio said temperatures in other areas may even reach 37 degrees.

“In Metro Manila, we can expect temperatures to reach 35 to 36 degrees,” Aurelio said in an interview on dzBB radio, adding that weather in areas such as Tuguegarao in Cagayan province may even reach 37 degrees – roughly the same as that of the human body.

On at least two occasions this month, Metro Manila residents sweltered through 34.5-degree heat, the highest so far this year.

Last Thursday, PAGASA recorded a high of 34.5 degrees Celsius in the NCR, the highest temperature so far this year.

Thursday’s 34.5-degree temperature matched the 34.5 degrees Celsius recorded last March 3.

just drink more than eight glasses of water every day, kaya yan ng katawan kahit mag 38 degrees pa

don't drink iced tea bec. the sugar in the iced tea will stick in you belly's or body fats, and therefore, your body will require more pressure to clean it if not contain it kung hindi mailabas sa exercise or bowel movement. and if more body internal pressure, sigurado mas mainit pa mararamdam mo

and don't eat / consume salty foods / full of toyo foods this coming heat wave. if you have so much salt in your body, your body water will be diverted to contain/clean it too, but usually contain it. kaya kahit anong init, tapos hirap pawisan, or pawis na malagkit (humid), that's the result of the body having too much salt. the best perspiration is water sweat, and it'll only happen if you drink more water.
