(UPDATE) NOVEMBER 30, Bonifacio Day, is a working day, while December 1 is a non-working holiday, President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo has declared.
In Proclamation 1169, which Malacañang released on Monday, Arroyo also announced that December 26 would be a special non-working day "to give an opportunity for travel to those who have to return home or to their workplaces" after December 25, Christmas Day, which falls on a Monday.
Activities for the commemoration of Bonifacio Day will be observed on November 30, according to the proclamation.
