I took Qatar twice. Very good experience even in coach. But much better in business class.

Has anyone tried Gulf Air's business class? (PAL has horrible business class so I always double check with airlines I've never tried before)

Unfortunately, Gulf Air is so so.

When I can, I always travel using Emirates. Sayang din ang points sa Skywards card. Dubai airport is also very nice and good for layovers.

Problem with Emirates is it does not belong to any of the airline alliances, you can only use points with them. Same with PAL, not member of any alliance. Qatar Airways is a member of OneWorld, so I fly with them more.

Surprisingly, mura ang Emirates compared to other airlines for the same route. I have compared their Mnl-Rome, Mnl-Miami and even Mnl-Nairobi flights, among others, and they come out the cheapest or most reasonable for the class.

    Hope this helps

Yep, I was also able to ride the humongous A380 in one leg. Medyo spoiled lang during that trip and stayed on the upper deck with access to the on-board bar and lounge.

    It was impressive
