Using X doesn't exclude Christ in Christmas whose said day belongs to him. The use of X (Chi in Greek) is the first letter of Christ and has been used as an abbreviation for Christ since the mid 16th century.

Nakapagtayo na kami ng Christmas Tree. 9FT siya. Placed the christmas lights already but still no decorations.

I just assembled our 8 footer last Nov.1 then put on pure white lights.

Accessories and mods include mini angels, mandatory red, gold, silver balls, 2 plastic bags of ribbons and laces and for the crown instead of the usual star, it's a foot tall red angel with wings.

    Kakapagod din.

By the way, Ricky Reyes has a 22 foot Christmas Tree in the middle of his mansion which he(she/it) decorates every year.

Our kids were very excited when we brought up our Christmas Tree. And, they were the ones who adorned it with lights and decors.....

First week pa kami ng December naglalagay. Sabay sabay na pati parol at mga ilaw sa paligid ng bubong.

I still prefer the traditional green tree, kasi pag white wala naman tayong snow dito eh.

^ Inakyat ko na yung amin the other week. Kulit ng mga bata eh...

Bad trip lang as magulo yung bahay ko ngayon so i cannot put up all the decors. Nakiusap kasi yung isang tita ko kung pwede i-store yung mga antique niyang furniture at wood panels sa bahay ko habang nag-renovate siya. Ampch anlalaki pala so ngayon para akong bodega sa sala and den. Mukhang may mumu pa yung ibang antique kasi natatakot minsan yung obese chihuahua ko.

tip sa mga naghahanap ng murang bilihan ng xmas trees and decors. kung alam nyo yung dapitan arcade near suki market sa mayon st, qc, maybe as much as 30-40% less than mall price. at sobrang dami ng choices. meron din malapit na building dun sa kanto na puno ng xmas decors, pati na din sa mga small shops all around.

Sa Quinta market handicrafts (under the bridge) in Quiapo, ok din mamili na Christmas decours. Although mas marami and a bit cheaper sa Dapitan. Dami rin eye candy kung minsan ...... :D

We had a tree with those fiber optic lights before. Kaso nawala yung base, eh dun pa naman nakaconnect yung mga ilaw so effectively it's now just a 7-foot green pole that can't stand on its own
