its pronounced Du Shao tsen... its actually duo shao Quian. Q is "ts" so saying out Quian is like "tsian" or "tsen" or something ... you need to hear someone say it tapos ginagaya ko na lang

yun wo bu dong is wo-o bu dong... wo is pronounced using the 4th tone so be careful when saying those sentences from the internet hehehe baka iba meaning nya, sampalin ka ng sales lady hehehe just kidding.

like yao ming, if said incorrectly or pronounced incorrectly means "get life" or you want his life.

a fun part is try to ask what is your chinese name(based from your english name)s and what does it mean. our driver, his chinese name means mongkey haha!

ah, isa pa nakalimutan mo which is very very important - bathroom just ask where is the "water closet" or "WC". they dont know CR or bathroom... and you have to "squat" on the floor hehehe but not all naman... mostly, but not all.

this is the fun part! sa PH masagi mo lang konti, sama na tingin sa yo. dito oks lang haha! I guess sa dami ng tao, everyone is so crowded they dont mind bumping into each other(literally) also a fun part is the spitting . just dont look at the street where you walking. and wear shoes, not sandals. baka matalsikan ka hehehe. try to spit out loud, promise no one will mind haha! even in the restaurants...

    pengyou - friend
    ni - You
wo(wo-o) -Me just remember wu is 5 ...
hao da - is like ok
hao tse - is like magaling. well they keep saying it in our basketball games everytime someone makes a basket.

so kung tatawar ka sa shop, sabihin mo... "ni, wo-o pengyou! give me big discount"

if you have time, try to join some local games like pingpong, badminton and basketball. Me, I joined a basketball league here and man, what an experience! what we see literally on the TV with those chinese nationals in the PBA is the same thing. catch and shoot. no fancy lowpost side step shake and bake moves hehehe. pati center nila shooter! its quite fun actually. great experience. di mo lang maiintindihan yun sinasabi nila haha! cultural experience like these are really fun. i do hope you enjoy and learn something from thier rich tradition and culture.

edit: and oh... mahilig mga tao dito ng soccer, so if you are into soccer and all that world cup fever there are alot of jerseys and shirts here not found in PH or other places.

try to travel to those traditional temples and places too if you have time.We went to a temple of somesoert and I've seen a a guy who looks like a kung fu master - yun mga napapanood ko sa chinese kung fu movies with the long hair, robe and stuff. I wanted to have a picture of him kaso baka lumipad lipad sya sa ere at ikung-fu nya ako haha which I have to say, careful not to start a fight. baka kung fu master sya hehehe you never know.
