going to Bantayan island is a 2+hour by bus or v-hire van from the north bus terminal to the port in Hagnaya + 1 hour ferry ride to Sta Fe,Bantayan. maganda doon!

yung BTC(banilad town center) and Crossroads are along Archbishop Reyes Ave., maraming restaurants doon. meron din mga KTV. bago lang yung BTC, this year lang(malapit na magbukas ang gonuts donuts dito).

kung gusto mong ng masahe o spa-Holiday spa(newly opened,malapit din sa crossroads), Sawadee(mear crossroads) or Meddah spa(crossroads). all are along archbishop reyes

nag-expand yung Isla Foods sa IT park(malapit sa waterfront hotel). maganda ang lugar pero walang view. Another mountainside restaurant is La Tegola, italian restaurant.

IMHO yung sutukil in Mactan is not worth it anymore. its expensive; its not what it used to be back in the 90s. but there are good alternatives like Isla Foods and Ocean Garden(in Lahug);cheaper too.

di ba dun ung me rotonda na ginagawang skating rink dati?

ung area na katapat ng cebu midtown, madami ring nagbebenta ng bbq puso tsaka balut. mmmm...me nagkwento lang nga sa akin...he allegedly saw a stick of raw pork bbq fall to the ground, get licked by a dog, and wound up on the grill anyways. we stayed away from the place since then :D



kawasan falls is interesting, pero nakakabadtrip nung pumunta kami dun. some idiot brought soap and actually took a bath under the falls. tsaka balita ko me namamatay daw diyan kada taon; malamig kasi sobra ung tubig, and there's a strong undercurrent.

just a piece of advice: dun kayo sa pinakatuktok na falls. if not, lahat ng dumi ng tao from the upper falls e babagsak sa inyo :D

Tama ka, when we went to Kawasan dun kami sa pinakaitaas tsaka back then eh malinis pa, not sure now kasi tagal na nun.

Well kpag gusto mo malapit sa city at mall dun ka sa MARRIOT hotel near ayala mall..
pero kung gusto mo malapit sa mga beaches at airport dito sa Lapu-Lapu City sa Plantation Bay kana or shrangila tapos kain ka S-T-K dito at refer mo na din kay knight23 kasi kabisado yan sa mga places dito sa Cebu..

pre Knight23 san kba mag hang out sabay chix hunting kapag weekend? pasama naman.. hehe..

Dami tambayan dito pre.. masarap pagkain at madaming din magagandang ladies..

Nka punta kana ba kawasan sa south? or sa bantayan island patungong north ? parang BORACAY ang beaches pre.. sarap talaga punta dun at afordable pa at malinis.. okey ba?

my friend died there last yr. sa main waterfalls nila, sabi nila he fell off the raft and wasnt able to swim up and also sabi nila naka-inum raw.
