Continental Airlines sa domestic US flights
Northwest Airlines. well, it carried me twice already.....internationally. syempre atat din makauwi, so yung landing phase (maski anong airliner) is the most pleasant experience

Yung pagpalakpak ng passengers is to praise the pilot for a good landing, ang masama is if the passengers kiss the ground after landing.

Best airline? Emirates is fine with me. Northwest and Lufthansa kapag long-haul.

    one comment on philippine airlines:
PAL - plane always late --> if not delayed for few hours. pero magagaling pilot ng pal laging smooth landing compare to other airlines.
gimlicious, kulang yung PAL monicker mo. PAL INC. = Plane Always Late, If Not Cancelled. Yan ang sakit ng PAL domestic, kung super kulang ang pasahero, they combine multiple flights, especially the Manila-Cebu routes. They don't do that for flites that have only single flights for that day, or for international. But sa domestic, PAL pa rin ako, mas bago ang planes kaysa Cebu Pacific, maski sa Airphil, they are using ex-PAL planes.
In terms of pilot landing ability, PAL pilots the best, domestic or international. Swabe ang landings, compared to other pilots, tried all domestic airlines, international northwest, cathay, dragon air, united, delta

the one thing that i like sa PAL is yung Logo nya and the clean white body pait nya. simple yet elegant!

Kicker15 sa New Jersey ko mangagagaling. ano ok ba naman ang services saka mga piloto? sabi nila medyo pangit nga daw ang airport sa taiwan. totoo ba yon? kasi mag change plane ko sa taiwan e. wala talaga akong idea s airlines na to ang alam ko lang is its almost 40% cheaper sila compared to northwest.

minsan parang ang init ng cabins ng PAL, whether domestics or international? pinapatay ba nila yung airconditioning or something at certain times hehe. although magagaling nga yung pilots ng PAL, and they have a modern fleet and an impeccable safety record.

yung cebu pacific puro napakaluma na yung planes nila

i find northwest so-so... two occasions na kaming nagkaproblema sa bagahe sa kanila on US trips (one was misrouted luggage, one was damaged suitcase). medyo masungit pa yung dating ng iba nilang flight crew hehe... iba pa rin yung asian hospitality, imo.

    anyhow, sa mga future flights........

After years of travel annually from the US to the Philippines, I've seen a lot of improvements on airlines that used to be so bad. For so many years, I've always had Northwest since my location is Boston and it is so easy for transfers, etc.

A friend of mine who owns a travel agency offered a ticket about 40% lesser that Northwest. He offered PAL, China Air and Cathay Pacific. I never really wanted to get PAL International since I had a very bad experience. But I went to try these airlines and surprisingly, they have improved a lot(except for that PAL's long lines in L.A. and SF, really disappointing&frustrating).

The last couple of trips I had was with Singapore Airlines and so far had been the best overall.

for me, the best yong mga airlines na di matagal ang stop-over/transit time..

    i was among those haggard & dead-tired passengers impatiently waiting for that late night lufthansa (di kaya air france though direct flight na to manila) flight to asia (frankfurt-bangkok-manila route)..until hotel booking was always part of my flight package;

i now take emirates offering better in-flight service, shorter routes & quick connecting flights..

sa domestic kahit ano; anyway insured naman ang byahe at saka dasal syempre..
