u can ask ur employer to be for the job offer detailing the position, salary, tenure etc. as long as you tell them that it will be for visa purposes. besides, kung work visa, usually companies are the one who petitions and files the visa application for the worker.

one downside to a working visa is the benefits.

I think what aifuru is asking is how can his friend ask for his CURRENT employer for a certification of skills considering that he's still employed with that company.

Usually di naman sya kailangan since if you already have a petitioning company in aussie, standard HR procedure naman ang gagawin eh... it's not the embassy's job to asses your skillsets. If nasa route na yung friend mo magapply ng visa, it should mean that tanggap na sa sya aussie, at visa nalang kailangan. In that case, if you file for resignation with the current employer, you should have no problems asking for a certificate of employment.

    Dude,

If you're referring to the Certificate of Employment(COE), you can ask your HR(employer) to issue one. Normally, the following were stated on the letter:

    -Position
    -Job description
    -Length of stay
    -Salary(optional)
-Purpose(syempre nde pde ilagay "employment purposes" kaya ipalagay mo "visa application" kse you'll be attending a training in OZ)

    That works for me.... :-)

hi airfuru, yep. kelangan talaga yun. yung dalawa mismo COE at Job Description.

ako i wrote a letter sa aming HR manager, i told her straight kung saan ko gagamitin (requirements sa application) but i wrote that di pa naman ako aalis at i am just exploring opportunities. humingi pa nga ako copy ng computation of separation pay if ever i will resign from that day.

I think they would understand and won't take it against your friend.

requirement for visa prob.
