Fort Santiago at Manila Cathedral daw gusto puntahan.
Corregidor din ata! Sabi ko that is too far (saka hindi ako sumasakay ng ship!)
What's a good itinerary around Intramuros? Super traffic ata pag Saturday![]()
I was thinking Sunday na lang sa Intramuros but I don't know where to take him on Saturday![]()
I dread that traffic filled weekend with our new VP![]()
I'm a bit pressured because my boss said he and our VP will go buy me presents (pasalubong) hay! Buti sana wala na lang pasalubong hehehe

This is great!!! I'll follow this instead. I find P1350 too expensive for the "walk this way" tour of Carlos Celdran.
I researched on Palace in the Sky and I decided not to take our new VP there anymore. It's so different from when I was last there 15 or so years ago. Parang ang bakya na? I'm thinking just stop over all the Landmarks going to Caleruega.
My other issue is I want our new VP to think that I'm poor/tight on cash so I can't go all out spending on him. BUT I also want him to enjoy his visit in Manila.
Our new VP really expects me to spend the weekend with him
Saturday - Intramuros
Sunday - Tagaytay? Or any other suggestions within Metro Manila?
I'm having a headache already because I am so pressured for him to have a good time here in Manila
EDIT When people saw his pic at the directory, ang dami na gusto mag entertain sa kanya. Lol. People can be so shallow. Everyone says he is good looking but for me mas guapo boss ko.

ayaw mo kasi ako pakinggan eh
sa morning dalin mo sa Nayong Pilipino, mga 8-9am, then punta kayo sa Manila Ocean Park, sa sobrang konti tao dun, maikot nyo kagad highlights in 2 hours, then instead of just driving just leave the car sa ocean park then walk to quirino grand stand then Luneta, then saka kayo pumunta sa Fort Santiago.
tapos sabihen mo sa kanya; i tel you what, there is another fort in town, would you like to go there too? it's named in one of our hereoes, Andres Bonifacio. so punta na kayo sa the Fort
Solaire or Okada then doon na rin sila mag coffee or uminom after.
Wala ba mga sasakyan mga yan at ayaw lumabas ng makati or BGC.
Diyan nag work, whole day tapos pati unwind diyan pa rin?
There’s a big world outside of makati and BGC.

Nahahalata na hindi mo nasubukan mangamuhan/work as an employeeIt's normal for colleagues na sa malapit lang pumunta for after office dinner/drinks. Parking and traffic ang issue when you have to bring a car. Kung 5 pm ang time out niyo, dami pang hindi ready at lilipat kayo ng city (esp now with Christmas traffic) you'd be so stressed, tired and starving when you get to your destination. Ako kapag hindi walking distance from my office then I'm not going :P It's not about having a car naman.
Pero hinde naman regular night out lang yan, executive ang ilalabas nila.

Problema yung timing, it's the week before Christmas and traffic is horrible everywhere and places are packed. Anong oras pa sila makakarating sa destination, baka ma trauma pa sa traffic yung executive :P
back to _Cathy_'s question...
I agree with shadow's suggestion...
Shang BGC (Buffet)
I've only encountered 3 Ind groups:
Muslims - who eat Halal and Ind Veg only.
Vegetarian - those who eat Ind Veg dish and non-meat stuff (like fries and mixed nuts)
The others - who can eat and drink anything.
agree... even my wife's ex boss loves Filipino food and he eats bulalo for breakfast. pero he is technically Norwegian na kasi he travels a lot.
I used to have an Indian colleague who's Vegan... and only eats vegetables that were not taken below the ground (e.g. no onions for him). his religion does not allow harm to anything living, so they cannot damage a plant by pulling it off the ground.
Then there are Indians who are vegetarians on certain days of the week. My boss is vegetarian on Tuesdays and Thursdays only
I'm guessing your visitor is just being nice as he knows a lot of Filipinos cannot handle Indian food...
yes, they exist!
a few of our acquaintances are vegetable pickers.
they simply have to pluck out the vegetable bits from the food, before they can consume whatever's left.
heh heh heh.
OT.
pag may hapon na bisita dinadala namin sa girly bar
tuwang tuwa
hehe
mga kliyente ng kapatid ko na mga hapon at koreano, ang parati nilang request mapuntahan/gawin na activity (among others) ay sa gun range (especially the latter because of their compulsory military service where they've been exposed to gun handling). siguro kasi gusto nila ma-satisfy iyong gun firing craving nila.
very strict din kasi ang gun ownership sa kanila so i suppose dito lang sila nakakatikim ng bang-bang na malapit-lapit sa kanila.
