N if trafik or stop light.. pero if d matagal D then brake. ok po ba yung ganun? I seldom use N kapag nakahinto.. D + brake lang. had an accident before na sa stoplight i accidentally put the car in P, then nung go na kinambyo ko pababa which is R, ayun umatras ako.. not knowing na nka P pala ako. so ngaun sa astoplight D + brake lang.. kasi nag N narin ako.. kasi feeling ko masisira or lalong pasira na tranny ko.. hehe.
so if nka N pwede tulak oto? lets say tumirik sa kalsada, dapat naka N para maitulak sa gilid.. tama ba?

Pag traffic o Naka stop sa traffic light Naka N at engage parking brakes o apakan brakes o both. Oo dapat naka N at matutulak na

may safety feature ang AT na hindi mo na need pindutin ang release button pag N to D & D to N.... dyan ka nag kamali nung nagawa mo yong P to R kase pinindot mo yong safety release button... kung di mo pinindot yon di sana lumipat from D to P and P to R

moral lesson while driving put the car to N then D (dont push the safety button if not going to park or reverse)

in a way yes, kasi may tendency parin mag creep forward parin ang vehicle kahit naka hand brake ka. also pag naapakan gas accidentally aabante sya maski naka hand brake. unlike naka D then foot is on brake, di nag creep and no accidental acceleration kasi nga alam mong nasa brake ang foot mo.

Madaling mapudpod sir brakes mo kapag ganyan. It also dangerous if you own high torque cars like diesel suvs, yung monty ko, hindi nakukuha sa handbrake.

Handbrake, cable type directly sa brakes, while yung foot brake, is hydraulic type, kaya incase na mawalan ng foot brake during emergency, ang last resort is yung handbrake (parking brake) in a certain speed. saka ang handbrake, ay very important, dahil ito yung nag-hold sa sasakyan during parking, kung paved or inclined.


kung iaasa sa handbrake during heavy traffic at naka engaged sa D, di lang transmission ang masisira, pati na rin yung brake lining/ parking brake assembly at yung cable itself connecting to the handbrake lever.

Bihira po ako mag drive ng AT, (once a year, 2 times lang), more on MT ako.

Kung heavy traffic at walang galawan, ginagawa ko lang naman po is to put the transmission in neutral, kung paved ang kalsada, at ramdam ko na hindi umuusad paabante or paatras.
no handbrake application required. kung medyo pababa or pa-angat yung kalsada, that's the time na hatak ko ang handbrake.

kung sa AT, wag ilagay sa P pag traffic. N is good enough.

Pwede naman i-relax yung paa sa ganyang method, hindi naman kailangan ibabad yung paa sa brake pedal, saka yung strain ng brake system at yung wear and tear ng brake light.
