Siguro nga release bearing lang. That's relatively benign. Pero irritating. hehehe.

    thanks sa replies...

usually kc nka-freewheel ako cornering.. din pgnatapos ko ung turn ska ko shift gear depending sa momentum ko.. at times, di bumabalik all the way pataas (original "idle" position) ung clutch kya prang me sumasabit na ngca-cause nung tunog... i think...

p-check ko n rin ds saturday ung release bearings as u suggest.

    thanks again.

    Hi tiger,
A very common mistake while cornering is stepping on the clutch. This is like putting your vehicle into neutral and thus gives you less control over your vehicle. While cornering, try to practice downshifting so that you have more control over your ride.

Dati rin ganyan ang gawa ko, but after some close calls, I realized that its really better to downshift nalang and turn while on 1st or 2nd gear.

As for the noise, its probably the release bearing.

to access the release bearing, they have to remove the tranny bell housing..so the labor you are going to pay will be the same as replacing the clutch..is your clutch due for replacement? isabay mo na dito para makatipid ka sa labor.

Yep. Antayin mo na lang when the time comes to replace the clutch. Waste of time lang ipa-check iyan. The mechanic will just give you a blank stare. Unless you want to pay him the full labor cost of pulling down your tranny just so he could have a look-see inside.

thanks djerms, practice ko ung advice mo... newbie pko kc kya medyo ngaaral pa..

i went to evangelista yesterday and had my tires changed... pna-check ko nrin ung sa clutch.. i think i could agree sa mga advice nyo dito about having my release bearings replaced in time with my clutch replacement. ung mechanics kc dun ganun din ung suggestion and initial assessment dun sa prob ko..

me ktaasan din pla ung fee (P1,500 labor) plus actual cost sa parts... is this reasonable? meron ba kyo ma-re-recommend na maayos gumawa?

thanks to all and good day.
