Question for trooper owners. I really find shifting difficult compared to my last ride (L200). Shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear, parang may sumasabit (at 2k rpm). Shifting from 3rd to 2nd gear naman, ang hirap tiyempuhan. Either too early that the rpm jumps up or too late that the engine vibrates.

Similar case? At what RPM do you guys usually shift? Another question is if its advisable to step on the fuel pedal while shifting to sustain the rpm level? Inputs appreciated.

Forgot to have this checked nga. Anyway, sabi ng friend ko, who has a similar ride, baka daw mashado lang ako na coconscious sa shifting ko. Tendency is either to shift early or late. Sinubukan ko kanina (shifting without looking at the tach -- engine feel lang kumbaga), smooth nga!

Baka nga mashado ko lang pinapansin ang pagshift. Tingin kasi ako ng tingin sa tach. Naninbago pa.

    Edwin,
Just adjusting to my ride. Nung minsan kasi naka 9km/l ako city driving. Tinitipak ko pa kung saan mas maganda ang km to a litr ko.

    Edwin,
Just to clarify, no adjustments in the idling was made. Sa shifting ako nag-aadjust and sa driving style. I'm experimenting which driving style would yeild to a much better fuel consumption.
