hi, i just got a Fortuner Dsl A/T after driving a Revo Gas M/T for at least 18 years.

so, when i come to a stoplight and it's more than a minute, i put it in N and handbrake. or, leave it in D, and use the handbrake.

which is a better or acceptable practice?

i'm a bit skeptical bout the lifespan of A/T and the cost to repair if there's an issue na.
