    hehehe, sarap nga idrive yung gen3 pajero (gas or diesel) with the invecs. iwan mo sa 4th gear at 40kph, it'll run along with no questions asked. :D

    i think pwede naman invecs for the 4d56, but the shift points also have to be optimized for the 4d56 too...

    Tranny overheating can be commonly caused by overloading, a/t cooler malfunction, low atf level among others.

    Yes, a/t's will consume more pads than m/t's. But pads are not terribly expensive. And it will just usually be the front ones.

    GEN II and 2.5's are 4speed a/t (1-3 + O/D).

    And you mash the gas pedal when passing because you only want to be in the opposite lane for the shortest possible time. After you pass and let up on the throttle, the tranny will upshift back into the correct gear almost instantly.
