    i converted a Gti Galant manual to automatic shift, and I need some little modifications on the shift panel... below is the attached pix, pls post ur suggestion kung pano ko matakpan yun gilid ng panel. Is there any shop/s where I can visit na pede ko pagawa yan?

    Fiberglass shops might help with your panels.

    pwede rin cguro yung rubber

    hanap ka ng same texture and eslasticity same as that of shift boots pero flat

    then gupit ka na lang na parang gasket ipit mo dun

    might be cheaper

    I was thinking of using some leather on some plastic to cover the gap to keep the interior looking good.

    Another option is to simply use some hard plastic sheet painted to match the interior plastic color.

    thanks guys for the inputs, any ideas where i can buy those materials? (i.e. hard plastic sheet, rubber, etc. )

    hard plastic: sign making shops... in fact they could also cut it into the size & shape you need. After that, you just have to paint it to desired color & texture.

    rubber: banawe or any automotive supply shop that sells that rubber moulding for doors & windows.

    leather: car or home upholstery shop. They can probably do a leather-on-wood thingie to fit that gap.
