guys, just a few days ago ive experienced a hard time shifting to 1st & 2nd gear. but the 3rd & up is ok. i had my clutch assembly replaced 2 yrs ago. I own a 99 slx isuzu hilander. Also the problem seems to be intermittent kse minsan naman ok sya 30% of the time. but the remaining 70% is not. what needs to be checked? ano ba talaga usual life span ng clutch assembly considering normal driving conditions.

February 2nd, 2007 08:53 AM #2try adjusting the pushrod of the clutch pedal. silipin mo behind the clutch pedal, merong lock nut yun. loosen it, then ikot mo yung push rod (cannot remember if clockwise or counterclockwise) para humaba yung pagpush down nung clutch. then tighten the lock nut again. that solved my problem on my xto. kung ayaw pa din, try mo magpalit ng transmission oil, baka malapot na or low level na transmission oil mo. hth ;)
