I am replacing my H/T tires on my Paj gen 2.5 and choosing between m/t and a/t Bridgestone. But recently saw Maxxis m/t and am also considering.

I have back read posts on tires but did not find any feedbacks on maxxis. Would appreciate feedbacks and suggestions and other recommendations.. I would also want to know if in changing to m/t s, there are other downsides other than noise and more wear and tear. Like handling on highways and breaking distance. Thanks in advance.

www.tirerack.com has a comprehensive database of tires along with scores in different performance parameters.

H/T's are more road-oriented and are quite popular with the non-offroad crowd.

A/T's are the traditional 4x4 tires before 4x4's became a fashion item.

M/T's will be noisier, wear a bit earlier, generally have a longer braking distance and less grip than their A/T counterparts. But for me the differences were not that big so I went with M/T's.

Maxxis is a good tire. They are by no means exceptional in any way but they work and are reasonably priced to boot.

Thanks Otep. Maganda and maporma sana yung M/T s, but I'm a bit apprehensive on the less breaking distance and grip on the road. I only use the vehicle on weekends, thrice a year trip to Baguio and will do the banaue/sagada again on Christmas. Mostly long drive and highway driving.

So I guess A/T s will be a good compromise? Thanks again.
