matic namamatayan ,, help po

hi.. civic esi po ang car ko.. automatic.., ask ko lang po kung may alam nyo po ang problem ng auto ko..

since automatic sya, hindi na ko nag apak ng gas when parking.. but lately pag kumakabig ako when parking namamatay ang engine ko.., ngaun ko lang po na experiennce to.. help po guys..

Check idle RPM and power steering pump.

before you go to any shops, if you can adjust your idle do it first. it is better to know your engine more and do some adjustments yourself than just going to any shops to solve your problems. do some research first, or let's just wait for the civic guys to post thier suggestions.

thanks, i checked my idle rpm.. pag naka neutral ako nasa 500-600 rpm pag nilagay ko sa drive , bumababa xa mga 200-300 rpm... pag nag brake and stop ako nasa 200-300 rpm.. ano kaya magandang gawin??? kaya ba ko namamatayan dhil sa low idle rpm ko?? sensya na newbie pa talaga ko...

possible sa power steering.. and rpm nga.. check power steering fluid... baka ubos na. or higher idling.

advise ko sir, pacheck mo sa transmission specialist na to...mura lang maningil at ieexplain sayo at bibigyan ka ng options...tapos sya na maghahanap ng parts…hindi ka rin dadayain….mapagkakatiwalaan…wala syang shop pero sa house lang nila gagawin kaya walang charge sa pwesto…ung sakin iniwan ko ung sassakyan at wala naman nawala...aalagaan nya talaga yung tiwala ng customer…sabihin mo lang refer ka ni marvi...

2 possible things:
-IAC valve dirty or even stuck up-clean/overhaul
-and the transmission cable loosen, tighten a bit

Mababa ang idle ng makina mo kaya namamatay maganda mong gawin kung matagal mo ng hindi napalinis ang throttle body, Maf sensor at IACV . Pagnalinis na ito mapupuna mo lalakas menor mo at ipaadjust mo nas lang sa tamang Timing ng makina at idle.

it is your idle.. it's too low. it should be at 650-700 with your a/c off and 750-800 with a/c on.
have your car checked up at Speedyfix. they'll clean your TB, IM, IACV.. and better to include adjusting the tappets and tune-up na din.. tell them that your having problems with your idle.. i think this will set you back not more than 2K..
