btw, ano ba ang difference ng radiator ng a/t and m/t? bakit iba?
Good day jojoico,
Just to share my knowledge. Ang manual transmission walang radiator. halos air cooled lng ang transmission fluid. ang automatic tranny, may 2 klase ng cooler. kelangan kasi mamaintain ung operating temp ng atf to prolong yung atf lifespan nya as well as the auto tranny parts (stator, turbine, gears, etc)
The 1st type is ung internal cooler. Internal ibig sabihin nasa loob ng engine radiator nung cooler ng auto tranny. to check, trace the hoses coming from the tranny. kung pumasok ung hose sa engine radiator, internal cooler type meron ka. i.e. ung heat from the tranny is transferred to the atf, then from atf to the engine radiator coolant, then from the radiator coolant to the ambient air.
2nd type is ung external cooler. this one is my sariling radiator/heat exchanger. kung ung hoses from the auto tranny connects to a radiator (hindi sa engine radiator ha at usually mas maliit ung size baka mas maliit pa kesa condenser ng AC), you have the external type. i.e. the heat from the tranny is directly rejected sa ambient air via the atf.
Hope this info will guide you.
