just this evening i was driving in a heavy traffic because of a flood
the flood was only about a gutter high(5 to 6 inches maybe) and passed it with ease
but when i stopped at the stop light and started to put the gear in 1st gear i had a hard time putting it in in 1st gear cant get through
what do you think is the problem?
only came up after passing the flood
i had a hard time going home because of this with the traffic
by the way my vehicle is a hilander

October 16th, 2009 04:29 PM #4I have the same prob with my 96 pajero. After driving into flooded street. It wont go into the first gear but it goes into the other gears.I doubt if it's related with the synchro because it won't even enter first gear even with the engine off. any ideas?
