    How about for gear oil? The manual says that the front and rear differential gear oil needed is GL-5 (75W-90).

    *Egan101, I tried searching for Red Line 75W-90 in Lazada and Shopee and it looks like it's out of stock everywhere. Is this gear oil rare?

    If Redline is out, any fully synthetic gear oil with 75w90 viscosity will do. FusionR or 2211Works should have something on hand.

    I'll see what I can find. Is Liqui Moly a good brand?

    Mas ok ba si fusionR compared kay 2211 works? Parehas naman malayo sakin (I'm from Taguig) so ok lang kahit sino sa dalawa basta mas magaling, hehe.

    Nagpalit na ko ng battery to Amron last year dahil di man lang umabot ng 2 years yung stock batt ko. Tapos yung Amron naman, pinawarranty ko narin a few months ago dahil di rin nagtagal considering na I charge my batteries every month to keep them in top shape. It's probably because my car is parked outside without any shade so direct sunlight siya which is the main enemy of batteries. But yeah, basically Amron ProLife (ata) yung gamit ko ngayon and a few months pa lang age niya.

    Liquimoly is a trusted brand for fluids.

    Take the time to go to FusionR or 2211Works. Ako nga taga Parañaque, di ako nag-abala pumunta dun sa FusionR for the CVTF and gear oil change.

    For change oil, dito lang ako sa GAT Performance sa Parañaque.

    Yup, I'm not hesitating traveling to either to get my car serviced. Parehas lang bang known yung dalawang auto shops when it come to servicing Subaru cars? Based on my conversation with their FB messenger representatives, mas ok kausap si FusionR e. Mas mabilis sila magreply and mas detailed yung response nila.

    Mas kilala yung FusionR among Subie owners. Lately dumadami na customers ng 2211Works. Autoline is also joining in. Dito sa South area, Pitworkz Hongly at QuickStart at GAT Performance yung known places.

    Got it. Baka sa FusionR na nga lang ako. So for the gear oil, here are my choices:

    AMSOIL 75W90 LONG LIFE GEAR LUBE FULLY SYNTHETIC (1 QUART)
    * P940

    AMSOIL 75W90 SEVERE GEAR LUBE FULLY SYNTHETIC (1 QUART) * P1175

    MAG 1 75W90 Full Synthetic GL-5 Gear Oil 1qt (946ml) MAG1 PN#62378 * P830

    Liqui Moly Gear Oil GL5 SAE 75W90 Fully-Synthetic (1 Liter)
    * P1225.5

    Should I save money and just go with the Mag1 or would I get better performance with the "Severe Gear" version of the Amsoil? Sabi ni Motor Image, Shell daw gamit nila for gear oil.

    After a bit of research, it looks like I'm gearing towards more on the Severe Gear variant of Amsoil. It's advertised for extreme ambient temps and frequent stop-and-go operations which are both applicable for Metro Manila city driving. It's also an Amsoil line that's very famous in the US according to auto shop reviews in Youtube.

    I might use Amsoil for my next CVTF and gear oil change.
