kapag ito-tow ang A/T car, kailangan bang nasa Nuetral yung gear? At paano ba ang tamang pag-tow?
The best way to tow an A/T car is to lift the driving wheels on a platform.

It's best to have it transported via flatbed.

If there really is no choice, speed limit of 80kmh and distance not exceeding 80kms set to neutral with the key engaged (so the steering wheel won't lock). I think you can get that info from the manual.

    PS:
I have not towed an AT yet btw so it's best to consult the experts.

    1. On a level surface sa garage namin, I just put it in Park with the handbrake released so the brakes won't stick when I wash the car.

    But on an incline:

    1. Step on the brake
    2. Engage the handbrake and gradually remove my foot off the brakes and let the car settle. This puts all of the car's weight on the handbrake, not on the A/T Park mechanism
    3. Put it in Park

    When driving off later:

    1. Start engine and step on the brakes
    2. Put it in Drive
    3. Release the handbrake

    Another question po:

Para saan po ba ang neutral? Kasi po nalilito ako eh. Sa ngayon po, sa pananaw ko almost same ang sense ng P at N, in which as a noob like me, parang nonsense po ata ang N...

Saang instances po ba useful ang N? Rather, paano ko po malalaman kung sa N ko po ilalagay and not sa P?

Sa ngayon po, as I read through this thread, towing needs you to set it to N.. Other than that po, saan pa po useful ang N?

As of now, kapag super traffic, tipong kaka-red lang ng light at alam kong matagal pa yung green, I switch from D to N, and not P, para lang po madaanan yung N..

    Need clarifications masters. Thanks!!

N means Neutral = no gear is engaged..

    1. full brake
    2. hand brake(habang naka full brake parin sa foot)
    3. shift to park(habang naka full brake parin sa foot)
    4. gently release full brake sa foot..

natatakot po kasi ako baka masira yung hand brake eh.. pero i think yung point ng method mo is baka ma-nullify nga naman yung pag hand brake then shift to park(baka ang ending ay sa tranny parin mapunta ang bigat, hindi sa hand brake)..

need someone to clarify these masters.. medyo mahal po masiraan ng kotse..

and pati po pala yung sa other question ko po, bukod po sa pag-tinotow, anu pa po silbi ng neutral?

    a. advisable po ba magneutral kapag super traffic (yung tipong alam mong kaka-red lang at ubod pa ng tagal bago mag-green light)?
    b. or just keep it at D, to avoid wearing the tranny out?

I know both methods have pros and cons, but for sure, one of the methods will avoid me more expenses sa pagawa.. mahal kaya magpagawa ng kotse ngayon..

Anyway, to answer your Qs, yes, pag sa stoplight, I shift to N, tapos handbrake.

Always RTFM (Read The Full Manual).

About your Park, dapat release ka muna ng fullbrake after mo mag-handbrake, tsaka ka magshift to P (Park).

    Don't worry too much. ;-)
