for me eliminating driving habit ba kamo... yong MT kase the human is in full control... rather than the sensors of the CVT...

inefficient din naman ang MT kung di marunong mag tama shift ang operator...

What if early shiftter ang driver? Like before or exactly 2k rpm

It used to be that manual transmissions delivered better fuel economy than automatics; but that is no longer the case when you consider how efficient the Subaru CVT transmission works.

if you want the best of both worlds, get a CVT with Paddle Shifters to simulate manual transmission.

CVT syempre, wala ng tatalo sa mechanical advantage pag dating sa bagay na yan.

I'm using Fuelio app to track my consumption. Mas matipid yung CVT ko sa M/T. Mabigat kasi paa ko, hindi ako efficient sa M/T.

In traffic, an efficient manual driver can match or exceed a CVT. But on the highway, no dice. CVTs can be in the exact right gear for whatever speed you're doing. And many new CVTs have an overdrive gear you simply can't get with a five-speed or six-speed manual gearbox.
